- Customize your invoices
- Invoice your clients directly
Why should l recommend this tool to a client?
It makes invoicing and time tracking straightforward and easy. You track your time and work in your account and they receive an invoice when you decide to bill. They can see a breakdown of your work and tasks, easily.
How does it work?
When a new account has been created, you can then add 'Clients', 'Projects' and 'Tasks' using the easy to use interface. You can either add time manually when you have completed something, or use the time tracking software which will time your work and record it. When you need to invoice the client, it can be done directly within Freshbooks and you can be paid via various payment methods.
FreshBooks integrates with many business apps, like PayPal, MailChimp, and Basecamp.
The free version of Freshbooks limits the amount of clients you can invoice, and requires that you keep Freshbooks branding. There are then three payment options, and Seedling is a popular choice for VAs - it allows unlimited invoices and billing for up to 25 clients.
Late payment reminders. If a client hasn't paid yet, Freshbooks can send them a polite reminder.
Different rates for projects. You can set different rates for various projects and clients. This is good if you charge different rates for different tasks.
Attach PDFs or image receipts. Does your invoice include a receipt for travel, or similar? Attach the proof of it with ease.
Available on all devices. Freshbooks can be accessed no matter where you are on any device.
Branding. If you have a paid account, you can brand Freshbooks and invoices with your own logo and details.
