When Max Robinson, Marketing Manager for The Rugby Store brought on their first VA, they realized their processes were lacking detail and flow. What were you struggling with in your business that led you to begin working with a virtual assistant?
We were having trouble scaling work and breaking down our work into processes. Having VAs on board with our team has actually helped us put more processes into place, which has massively improved our efficiency!
Tell us a little bit about what you have delegated and how you work together?
Our VA's mainly handle prospecting. We break all of our work down into processes then provide video walkthroughs for our VAs to follow. It's worked out really well, and made training pretty easy.
How has working with a virtual assistant supported your business, and you personally?
We realised when we started bringing VAs on board that we didn't have too many definitive processes in place, so we really had nothing for the VAs to follow. So we were forced to breakdown everything we do into easy to follow processes, which has helped us massively in our work.
What differences have you noticed in your business since you began working with a virtual assistant?
We've been able to scale our outreach and contact even more people, which has consequently resulted in even more exposure for our brand.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs seeking virtual assistants?
Focus on creating your own easy to follow processes and create video tutorials too, as this will ensure that the VA knows exactly how to carry out the work.
