How much is a good client review worth? According to a study done by Vendasta.com, 80% of customers trust online reviews as much as they'd trust a personal recommendation. So really, a review is worth a lot when it comes to growing your virtual assistant business. If you've never thought of collecting or using testimonials as part of your marketing strategy, we'd challenge you to rethink that! There are a ton of great tools online to help you collect reviews and testimonials from your current clients to help convince prospective clients what an invaluable asset you'll be to their team! LinkedIn - We love LinkedIn Recommendations because they're simple, free, and quick for recommenders. Odds are, a client who is looking to hire you will check out your LinkedIn profile, so It's also a great channel to house all the wonderful things your current clients are saying about you. LinkedIn also makes it easier to request a recommendation - just navigate to the "recommendations" section on your profile, click "Ask To Be Recommended" and then choose the name of the contact you wish to ask. Survey Monkey - Survey Monkey is a great option if you're looking for a free, easy survey platform that won't take much time to work in. The is user interface is very intuitive, and you'll have options on how you'd like to collect feedback, such as multiple choice questions, short answer, or full paragraphs. The survey responses can be collected via email, social media, or your website, so you have choices there as well. Testimonial Tree - Testimonial Tree is a testimonial collection software that aims to make the process of collecting and distributing testimonials easier for companies. Testimonial tree will create a custom collection form for you, and grant you access to a dashboard where you can organize, filter, and sort testimonials, choose which ones you'd like to share, and then use them on your website, emails, and social media channels. Boast.io - If you're ready to step up your testimonial game, check out Boast.io. This awesome tool allows you to add a snippet of code to your website that allows your clients to quickly submit video testimonials via a collection form. Once a video is submitted, you'll have the option to approve and post it automatically! You'll also have the ability to download the testimonial videos for use on other marketing channels.
